The Lacrosse Foundation
Today is the second anniversary of the death of Roger Okill. Today is also the day The Lacrosse Foundation is launched as the charity that intends to grow the game of lacrosse in the Great Britain.
The charity began in 2006 to support The Blues LC junior programme. Over the years it raised around £150,000 to fund lacrosse development. In his will Roger Okill left a generous legacy to the charity which has enabled the trustees to relaunch the charity with a mission to champion the growth and development of lacrosse in Great Britain.
